The perfect Restoration Hardware knock off

The gods must have been listening to me yesterday when I was griping about the $230 price tag on Restoration Hardware’s Cartwright medicine cabinet, because while on last night I found the perfect knock off! It’s good, real good and the price was even better. So I bought it!

Here they are side by side.

Almost identical, huh? So the Overstock cabinet (on the right) doesn’t have those finishing touches that make the Restoration Hardware piece, a Restoration Hardware piece. But is it worth almost $200 to get a bevel in the mirror and a slightly larger piece? Heck no! I am so thrilled to get exactly what I wanted for just $54.99.

But, the real reason I was on overstock last night was for sink and shower fixtures, which was also very successful.

I bought this Restoration Mini-widespread Chrome Faucet for $67.99. A deal in my eyes because it should fit any sink we get and the real old cast iron sinks require a large spread (8″ – 12″). The cross knobs along with the “H” and “C” letters give it a subtle vintage vibe. However, I did see elsewhere, they sold this exact faucet with white porcelain knobs but for a price tag almost twice as much, that’s not in the budget so I stuck with the chrome from Overstock.

Last on the bill is this tub and shower fixture set that set us back $73.99. It’s a very simple, soft design and it got great reviews. I’m just happy to replace the old brassy gold fixtures that are in there now.

With a $10 coupon code it came to a grand total of $189.92 with tax and shipping, perfectly within budget!

But, just in case the gods are listening again, can you help me find a knock-off for this light? Thanks!
